Security Operations Center Officer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay: $31.00 an hour
Shift: Must be open to any shifts Weekends required

SCIS is searching for a full time Security Center Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management of both security and fire alarm monitoring systems, operating/monitoring communications equipment, logging shift activities, monitoring surveillance monitors and camera systems, processing required reports and making appropriate notifications. They will perform a variety of dispatch and control center functions at assigned site; may be assigned a rank, as defined by client contract.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitors a central point alarm monitoring dispatching, dispositioning and archiving security and fire alarms; controlling and directing daily routine activities for security and fire personnel and affect command/control procedures for emergencies.
- Monitors and Operates Closed Circuit TV (CCTV), video systems, alarm receiving equipment.
- Logs shift activities, monitors surveillance and intrusion monitors, alarms and camera systems, processing required reports and making appropriate notifications.
- Use communication equipment to include, but not limited to, two-way radio communications, telephone systems, secure phone, satellite phone, paging systems, alarm receiving.
- Maintains all logs, reviewing and writing reports for incidents and emergencies utilizing a Significant Events Log during assigned shift.
What You’ll Bring:
- US Citizenship
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 1 year of prior Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience
- Must have an Active Arizona Guard Card
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance (Required)
- Must have and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
