Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Condominium Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing condominium facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents. This role requires a proactive approach to facilities maintenance, strong technical skills, and excellent customer service abilities. The Maintenance Technician will work independently and as part of a team to address a range of repair and maintenance needs across multiple properties.
Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems.
- Experience with pool chemicals and pool cleaning preferred.
- Carry out painting projects to maintain the appearance of common areas and exteriors.
- Operate tools such as ohmmeters, pool vacuum, shop vac, and leaf blower
- Supervise subcontractors
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all repair activities.
- Respond promptly to requests or emergencies, providing excellent customer service.
- Assist in supervising facility upgrades or renovations, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or residential building repair, preferably within a condominium or multi-family housing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience.
- Ability to perform painting and basic carpentry tasks
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with residents and team members.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation are required.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
