Couples & Family Therapist (Part-Time, W2)
Whole Connection is looking for a couples and family therapist who is passionate about relational work and wants to grow within a supportive, trauma-informed team. We have many clinicians offering individual therapy but are currently short on the couples and family capacity we've offered in the past, so you'd step into an instant caseload of warm referrals. We're a community-minded practice that protects clinicians from burnout with sustainable caseloads, paid admin time, and a genuinely collaborative culture.
Location & schedule: [Hybrid — telehealth plus in-person options at our Boulder and Denver offices; confirm/adjust]. Because couples and families usually need after-work times, some evening availability is a strong plus.
What You'll Do
-
Clinical impact: Provide primarily couples and family therapy, with some individual work (approx. 10–20 clinical hours/week, with room to grow).
-
Clinical excellence: Complete timely documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, assessments) in our user-friendly EHR.
-
Collaboration: Join clinical consultation and multidisciplinary team meetings to sharpen your craft.
-
Holistic care: Coordinate with outside providers and community resources for wraparound client support.
-
Professional standards: Maintain Medicaid and payer documentation compliance.
Who We're Looking For
-
License (Colorado, or license-eligible): LMFT is ideal. LPCC / LSW welcome — we provide supervision toward licensure. LPC or LCSW with a clear, demonstrated couples/family-systems focus also encouraged to apply.
-
Experience: Familiarity with evidence-based relational modalities (EFT, Gottman, RLT, or attachment-based therapy).
-
Values: Comfortable serving a diverse client population including Medicaid recipients, with a spirit of cultural humility. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
Compensation & Benefits (part-time W2, avg. <32 hrs/week)
-
Clinical sessions: $40–$60/hr, commensurate with license and experience.
-
Paid admin time: $25/hr — and we actually pay for it: 10 minutes of admin for every clinical hour (so notes are thorough and stress-free), plus one paid admin hour each week for team collaboration, care coordination, and misc. tasks.
-
401(k): 6% employer match, fully vested.
-
Training stipend: $1,500/year for CEs, certifications, or advanced training (once seeing 15+ clients/week).
-
PTO: Accrues from day one.
