Job Overview
Hydro Health & Wellness is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and dependable Paramedic or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing wellness team.
This position is ideal for a healthcare professional who enjoys providing hands-on patient care in a welcoming, wellness-focused environment. The Paramedic/RN will play an important role in delivering IV hydration and wellness services, assessing patients, monitoring treatments, administering medications and injections as permitted within scope of practice, and ensuring each client receives safe, attentive, and personalized care.

Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, obtain health histories, assess vital signs, and identify relevant health concerns prior to treatment.
- Initiate, maintain, monitor, and discontinue IV therapy in accordance with established protocols and scope of practice.
- Perform venipuncture and administer IV fluids, vitamins, medications, and other therapies as ordered and permitted by applicable regulations.
- Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as appropriate.
- Monitor patients throughout treatment and recognize changes in condition or potential adverse reactions.
- Respond appropriately to medical concerns or emergencies and follow established emergency protocols.
- Provide clear patient education regarding treatments, expected benefits, potential side effects, aftercare, and follow-up recommendations.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Follow provider orders, standing protocols, and established clinical policies.
- Maintain proper infection-control procedures, aseptic technique, medication handling, and treatment-area cleanliness.
- Ensure appropriate inventory, storage, and organization of clinical supplies and medications.
- Collaborate closely with medical providers and other Hydro Health & Wellness team members to provide a seamless patient experience.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times.
- Help create a warm, professional, and comfortable environment from the beginning of the patient's visit through completion of treatment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training as new wellness services, treatments, and protocols are introduced.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license or Paramedic certification/licensure, as applicable to the position and State of Georgia requirements.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification is preferred.
- Strong IV insertion and venipuncture skills.
- Experience administering IV medications, fluids, and injections.
- Strong patient assessment and vital-sign monitoring skills.
- Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to adverse reactions and medical emergencies.
- Knowledge of infection control, aseptic technique, medication safety, and clinical documentation standards.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Professional, personable, dependable, and highly attentive to detail.
- Ability to work confidently and efficiently in an independent clinical setting while also functioning as part of a collaborative team.
- Comfortable utilizing electronic medical records and learning practice-specific technology.
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
- Previous experience in emergency medicine, EMS, infusion therapy, IV hydration, urgent care, or outpatient wellness is preferred.
- Experience with wellness services, vitamin injections, IV hydration, or similar therapies is a plus; training may be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
