Purchasing & Retail Pricing Data Entry Specialist
Local thriving, established and growing flooring company seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Retail Pricing Data Entry Specialist to support their purchasing, inventory, and pricing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate product, cost, and pricing information within their QFloors ERP system, ensuring profitability across our Retail, Commercial, and Builder sales channels. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong analytical skills, and can manage large volumes of data with exceptional accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Procurement
- Create, verify, and issue purchase orders (POs) to manufacturers and distributors for stock and special-order materials.
- Monitor open purchase orders, backorders, and delivery schedules to ensure timely product availability.
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, and shipment status.
Product & Database Management
- Maintain and update product catalogs, SKUs, costs, pricing, and product attributes within the QFloors ERP system.
- Ensure accuracy of material descriptions, packaging information, square footage, square yardage, and other unit measurements.
- Perform routine audits to maintain data integrity across the database.
Pricing & Margin Management
- Enter and maintain pricing structures for Retail, Commercial, and Builder accounts.
- Execute manufacturer price changes quickly and accurately to protect company margins.
- Support retail promotions, project-specific contract pricing, and builder rebate programs.
- Review pricing data regularly to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Invoice & Cost Auditing
- Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and receiving records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving material costs, freight charges, surcharges, and vendor billing errors.
- Maintain accurate records for accounts payable processing.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, billing, inventory management, or high-volume data entry.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, filtering, and data analysis.
- Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to calculate square footage, square yardage, waste factors, and gross profit margins.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when working with numerical data.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with QFloors ERP software preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
