Part-Time Customer Service Associate – Self Storage

This position is a great fit for retirees seeking a flexible schedule and veterans transitioning to civilian work who bring reliability, structure, and strong customer service instincts. Previous self-storage experience is a plus but not required — we'll train the right person.
Position Details
- Part-Time: 20–26 hours per week
- Flexible hours available throughout the week
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
What You'll Do
- Provide outstanding customer service in person, over the phone, and through email communications
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate storage solutions, products, and protection plans
- Prepare rental agreements and complete lease documentation accurately
- Collect rent payments and assist with routine administrative duties
- Maintain a clean, professional, and secure facility appearance
- Identify maintenance concerns and coordinate resolutions when needed
- Prepare basic operational reports and maintain accurate records
- Support day-to-day facility operations and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or management experience
- Self-storage experience
- Light maintenance experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform light physical tasks
