STATION IS LOCATED AT 5705 Campbellton Fairburn Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213 (DAT9)
A DAY AS A DELIVERY ASSOCIATE (DA)
You can expect to work 1-2 days/week as a part timer (weekend drivers welcomed) and 3-4 days/week as a full-timer including one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)*
The typical workday for a Delivery Associate starts at the DAT9 delivery station. The equipment is handed to the DA and a brief stand-up meeting takes place before the DA goes to the assigned van and logs into his route. The DA will then complete a pre-trip inspection of his van in accordance to established standards seen in training. The final loading of the parcels into the delivery van is then conducted. The DA is now ready to go once the signal is given by the yard marshal. The rest of the day will be spent on the road delivering packages to Amazon customers according to the standards learned in training and through our coaching sessions, all under the supervision of the dispatch team. At the end of the shift, the driver returns to the station, where the post-trip inspection is completed, and the work equipment is returned.
KEY TASKS
Safely operate a cargo van
Ensure the daily delivery of over 300 packages
Provide efficient and courteous customer service
SCHEDULE
Day shift; Expect 9-10hrs of work per day on a weekly schedule of up to 4days/week including Saturday or Sunday*
Possibility of 5th and 6th day (overtime rate after 40hrs worked) when there is an operational need

REQUIREMENTS
Must be authorized to work in the US
Must be at least 21 years old
Must hold a valid driver’s license within the state of employment
Must be able to handle/lift packages weighing up to 50lbs
Must pass a four-panel drug test¹ (Opioids, PCP, Cocaine, Amphetamine) administered by a third-party vendor
Must pass a two (2) day in-class training
Must be able to communicate in English (speak, write, read)
*Hours cannot be guaranteed by the employer
