Job Summary:
As the Lounge Lead at Stretch 22, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing employee onboarding and training, and driving business growth.
Your role will include acting as a Stretchologist, teaching the Stretch 22 Vibrastretch method to new hires, and analyzing P&L statements to strategize business advancements. This is a multifaceted position that combines operational management with leadership in promoting team development and enhancing the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Ongoing
- Onboard new employees, ensuring they understand and can effectively teach the Stretch 22 Vibrastretch method.
- Oversight of the business email
- Set up corporate stretch sessions, invoicing clients via ‘account payment’.
- Manage unemployment claims and FMLA through the Employment Security Department website.
- Distribute yearly tax documents to employees.
- Oversee payroll processing, validating hours, making necessary adjustments in Mindbody, and managing reimbursements.
- Administer employee benefits, processing payments and adding/removing employees as required.
- Oversee HR functions and ensure compliance with local labor laws, working with external HR contacts as needed.
- Monitor inventory and monthly ordering for various locations.
Daily:
- Review transactions from the previous day using the “Sales by Service” report in Mindbody—filtering for irregularities and patterns.
- Maintain open communication with team to address operational needs.
- Manage customer service using messaging system, email, and phone calls.
- Stretch clients.
Weekly:
- Utilize Mindbody reports to assess sales by service and identify any concerning transactions.
- Hold weekly Zoom meetings with the leadership team.
- Conduct weekly operations meetings to review trends, priorities, and strategies for improvement.
- Promote and sell memberships to clients.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and operational efficiency.
Monthly:
- Develop and review location budgets and inventory management strategies.
- Prepare and submit payroll 2x/month
- Prepare and submit B&O taxes each month
- Schedule maintenance for lounges as necessary.
- Manage staff scheduling
Quarterly:
- Ensure PCI compliance through regular reviews and updates.
- Participate in a comprehensive training process for new hires, followed by ongoing Stretchologist support and onboarding.
- Engage in quarterly strategic planning sessions with leadership.
Yearly:
- Complete PCI compliance questionnaires and ensure organizational awareness of compliance protocols.
- Engage with the insurance broker to update liability coverage as needed.
Support and Leadership:
- Provide oversight and mentorship to all staff to foster skill development and team cohesion.
- Support the accurate tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and develop action plans to improve lounge revenue.
- Conduct site visits to inspire and motivate staff through a servant-leadership approach.
Points of Contact:
- Direct communication with Head of Marketing, to align marketing strategies with operational goals.
- Direct communication with key partners including accountants, benefits brokers, and insurance agents for operational efficiencies.
Additional Duties:
- Act as a Stretchologist, integrating the Stretch 22 Vibrastretch method into all training and operational practices.
- Continuously study P&Ls to identify business advancement opportunities.

Experience/Education Required:
- Minimum 1 year holding a leadership position
- Fitness industry experience preferred but not required.
- A current certification from a personal training certification program, massage therapist or PTA preferred
- Understanding of human anatomy and physiology required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
- Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
- Must have basic anatomy knowledge
- Experience working in the wellness/fitness industry is preferred
- Personal training certification is a plus
- Candidates must have completed highschool, or received similar certification (GED)
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal with customers and coworkers

- Pushing: Using the upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward, or outward

- Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles
- Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- The worker is subject to vibration: Exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or the whole body
- Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
