Duties
- Clinical Support — Prepare exam rooms, maintain cleanliness and readiness, assist with GYN procedures, obtain vital signs, perform point‑of‑care testing, and support patient flow throughout the visit.
- Patient Interaction — Greet patients, verify demographics, review medical histories, provide clear instructions, and maintain a warm, respectful, trauma‑informed approach.
- Documentation — Accurately document patient information, vitals, and clinical notes in the EMR; ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols.
- Specimen Handling — Collect, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory processing following OSHA and CLIA standards.
- Equipment & Supplies — Maintain inventory, restock exam rooms, ensure proper functioning of medical equipment, and follow infection‑control procedures.
- Administrative Support — Assist with scheduling, patient reminders, insurance verification, and check‑out processes as needed.
- Compliance — Follow all clinic policies, OSHA/HazCom requirements, emergency procedures, and professional conduct standards.
Requirements
- Education — Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Experience — Prior experience in women’s health, OB/GYN, or outpatient specialty care strongly preferred.
- Skills — Strong communication, EMR proficiency, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and comfort working in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
- Certifications — CMA, RMA, or equivalent credential required; BLS certification preferred.

Pay: $16.94 - $21.76 per hour
