What you’ll do:
The Marketing & Brand manager is responsible for shaping, protecting, and amplifying the brand voice and reputation of Joint Venture Restaurant Group. This role provides high-level support to the owners and corporate leadership of JVRG, offering strategic guidance and facilitating and overseeing internal and external communication across all teams. The Marketing & Brand manager is responsible for content creation, marketing, development, public relations, brand consistency, crisis communications, team leadership, and executive-level collaboration.
JVRG Brand Management
Marketing & Social Media

Always consider the communication of the brand to our customer.
- Management and execution of Marketing Calendar and marketing budget across all brands

Management and Execution of social media across all brands. Adhere to posting requirements. Include Twitch and Tik Tok. Work with any third party collaborators and assist as needed.
- Develop a roster of videographers, photographers, and graphic designers of current & future potentials

Manage all production of outside content capture and asset development as it pertains to any JVRG brand whether it is an internal hire or through a collaborative partner.
- Uphold JVRG’s brand identity standards, including tone, voice, and all visual elements such as logos, colors, and typography.

Manage and recruit brand partnerships, working cross-functionally to develop aligned retail and hospitality strategies.

Maintain updated Photography for CPG items

Brand imagery accuracy.
- Ideation and execution of marketing campaigns across all brands

Develop and execute marketing plans for any new store opening.
- Oversee and lead the successful cultivation and nurturing of collaborating brands.

Oversee the creation, cataloging, and organizing photography in the drive and the drive itself

Maintain updated brand decks for all brands.
- Continue to analyze and improve brands SEO with bento Box.
- Investigate and execute paid ads for certain brands
- Understand KPIs for all marketing channels

Implement and oversee the successful execution of a seeding and Influencer program

Catalog and organize photo archives for all brands; organized by brand, dish and item with date that photos were shot.
- Create & maintain database of all professionally shot press photos; paid shoots for all brands
Our brands include Jon & Vinny’s, Helen’s Wines, Cookbook Market, & Carmelized Productions.
Partnerships, CPG & Special Projects

Oversee DoorDash Brand alignment and run marketing budget for CA and FL.
- Manage, network, and maintain corporate partnerships and relationships.

Lead the development and management of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) items that align with the JVRG brand, including concept development, production, inventory management, and distribution.

Handle billing for assigned promotions or partnership-related initiatives.

Cultivate and nurture potential new partnerships and brand collaborations.
- Special projects or partnerships as assigned.
Ownership Communications

Assist, Coordinate and manage external partnerships, personal appearances, and public relations activities for ownership in collaboration with Executive Assistant.
- Provide support and guidance in problem-solving and crisis management, including developing solutions and ensuring effective internal and external communication.
Communications & Public Relations

Maintain and nurture relationships with relevant national and regional media outlets to secure high-value press coverage for new projects, initiatives, or products.

Manage all incoming media requests, arrange interviews, and develop tailored talking points and briefing materials. Manage all press outreach.
- Identify and secure speaking engagements for senior leadership, managing all logistics and event promotion.

Generate proficient press coverage for new projects, initiatives, or products.

Create, update and maintain Jon & Vinny's Collab Deck

Management and execution of Newsletters across all brands where applicable.
- Ensure all digital information across all platforms is up to date and accurate, including keeping all websites up to date.

Oversee the development and accuracy of all printed menus.

Secure placement for JVRG brands in targeted and high-value publications.

Manage and route all incoming emails from the “info@” inboxes for Jon & Vinny’s and Cookbook Market, ensuring timely follow-up and delegation.
Internal Communications

Lead and oversee the marketing department to ensure alignment with brand standards and ownership priorities.

Oversee the alignment and accuracy of any training materials.
- Audit brand guidelines across departments, including Marketing and Purchasing, to ensure consistency and compliance.

Provide leadership and strategic oversight for all internal communications efforts, ensuring messages reinforce company values and culture.

Oversee the development and distribution of company-wide newsletters and executive communications in partnership with Director of People Services

Support internal communication during crises or urgent company updates, ensuring tone, timing, and accuracy in partnership with Director of People Services

Monitor and review with Guest Relations Manager any negative online reviews, audit review activity on recap sheet, and step in as needed.
Schedule Expectations:

On-site, Monday through Friday
-
50 Hour Workweek, 8 hours daily on-site.
- Follow the above schedule as the baseline expectation unless a particular event requires additional attention or coverage.
Qualifications:
-
Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
-
Understanding of all Social media platforms.
- Experience with building and managing budgets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in communications, executive support, public relations, or brand management, ideally within hospitality, consumer goods, or a multi-concept restaurant group.

Demonstrated experience supporting C-level executives.

Proven ability to lead and manage team members as needed, including delegation, coaching, and performance oversight.

Strong strategic communications capability, with experience developing internal and external communication frameworks, drafting executive correspondence, and preparing high-quality presentations.

Established media relationships and demonstrated success securing press coverage, managing public relations initiatives, and engaging with high-profile partners or sponsors.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $85,000 to $135,000 DOE
