Skilled Builder / Future Foreman

Job Summary
We're seeking a motivated and skilled builder to work alongside the owner and grow into a crew leader. In this role you'll be hands-on across our core work pole barns, post-frame, and pre-engineered metal buildings, plus framing, siding, re-sheets, and repair work throughout the York / Grand Island / Lincoln corridor. Repair and restoration is a big part of what we do, and it's a skill we value highly. If you've flown iron, set posts, or hung steel, we want to talk. The Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Thursday. Four 10-hour shifts. Guaranteed 40 hours. Every single weekend is a 3-day weekend.
- $21–$32+/hr depending on what you bring. Green but willing to hustle? We'll train you. Experienced running post-frame or PEMB jobs? You start near the top.

Responsibilities
- Build post-frame and pre-engineered metal buildings — set posts and columns, frame, set trusses, and sheet walls and roofs.
- Erect structural steel and hang metal panels safely, squarely, and to spec.
- Perform framing, siding, and re-sheet/re-skin work on both new and existing buildings.
- Handle building repair and restoration — diagnose and fix structural, siding, and roofing issues on customer buildings.
- Support concrete and flatwork as needed: formwork, pouring, and finishing.
- Read and interpret building plans, blueprints, and shop drawings to execute project specifications accurately.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment (skid steer, telehandler, lifts) safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and keep a clean, organized jobsite for yourself and the crew.
Qualifications
- Proven experience on construction sites with a solid understanding of build processes and safety standards.
- Bonus: pole barn / post-frame / PEMB experience.
- Bonus: building repair or restoration experience (rare — and we value it).
- Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Skilled with hand tools and power tools; comfortable operating equipment when required.
- Able to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
