Steel Hook Trucking is seeking an experienced CDL Class A or B Dump Truck Driver to operate quad axle dump trucks in the Raleigh and surrounding areas. We are a growing family-owned company focused on professionalism, reliability, and building long-term relationships with both customers and drivers.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting pay: $23.00/hour
- 1.5 hours paid Driver Logistics Time for every dispatched workday
- Guaranteed minimum pay program available after probationary period

Driver Logistics Time includes compensation for:
- Pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities
- Yard time
- Travel between yard, quarry, and job sites
- Fueling and routine operational duties
Requirements:
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Dump truck experience preferred
- Clean driving record
- No DWI/DUI within the last 5 years
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Ability to safely operate quad axle dump trucks
- Ability to pass pre-employment requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections before and after each shift
- Comply with DOT and company safety requirements
- Complete tickets and logs accurately
- Report mechanical issues immediately
- Maintain professional interactions with customers and the public
- Work efficiently and be a team player
