Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit, ensuring a memorable experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently
- Serve drinks, including cocktails and spirits, with professionalism and knowledge of beverage offerings
- Assist with food preparation, food handling, and sanitation to uphold food safety standards
- Clear tables, bus tables, and reset dining areas promptly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, or specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing sales transactions and balancing registers at shift end
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Knowledge of openTable reservations system is a plus but not required
- Prior experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is advantageous
