The role of the Fleet Maintenance Technician is to participate in the proper upkeep and maintenance of heavy equipment such as forklift/loader/sweeper fleet for the organization. The successful candidate will have 1+ years of heavy equipment fleet maintenance experience. This role will interface with multiple departments and must be able to multi-task and prioritize daily duties.
Job Duties:
- Carry out inspections of equipment to identify and resolve issues
- Plan, prioritize, and oversee repairs for all equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Assist with inventory and placing orders when necessary
- Monitor expenses and control the budget
- Ensure adherence to the safety policies and procedures
- Follow up on repairs (both inhouse and vendor) to ensure they are correct
- Ensure all equipment fit for safe operation/Check operators equip. inspections
- Maintain all KPA records as necessary
- Communicate equipment issues, developments, and timelines with management
- Communicate operator issues and developments with management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
