Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support, handle clerical tasks, and assist in maintaining an organized office environment. There is no flexibility in the days or the week or the hours. This not a hybrid position.
Hours are 7:30am-1:30pm, currently 30 hours a week
Duties:
- Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, fax and answering phones, answering emails.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence including patient records
- Assist in organizing and maintaining office common areas
- Check in patients, collect co-pay, schedule patients, monitor phone and email.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in being able to pick up using software easily
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Experience in medical office procedures and adherence to HIPAA
-Ability to learn electronic health care and scheduling software
