CNC Operator - Day & Night Shift
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour starting wage (higher based on experience)
Night Shift Premium: Additional $2.00/hour
We are currently hiring experienced CNC Operators for both Day and Night shifts at our Dexter, MI facility. We are seeking motivated individuals who are quality-conscious, mechanically inclined, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
This position is ideal for someone who takes initiative, has strong attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining high production and quality standards.

Shift Schedule
Day Shift
Monday - Friday
6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Night Shift
Monday - Friday
4:30 PM - 2:30 AM
Overtime may be required as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Includes but is not limited to:
- Operate CNC Lathe machines safely and efficiently
- Experience with Tsugami Swiss-type machines preferred
- Produce quality parts while maintaining production levels
- Perform basic cleaning, oiling, and routine machine maintenance
- Keep machines stocked with production materials
- Change tools, drills, and inserts as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Use precision measuring instruments including:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Depth mics
- Pin gauges
- Comparators
- Profilometers
- Perform quality inspections to verify part accuracy
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of CNC machining or related manufacturing experience preferred
- Prior CNC Lathe experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills and positive attitude
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Ability to learn and adapt to machine maintenance requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
