Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service from seating to farewell
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper beverage service etiquette
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and service
- Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift
- Demonstrate extensive beverage knowledge including spirits, wine pairings, and cocktail preparation
- Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations and resolve any concerns promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub setting
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is required; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple tables efficiently with excellent time management skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for processing orders and sales transactions
- Experience in cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, and wine pairing enhances your ability to upsell effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
