Pay Rate: $48 / hour
Details
- Full Time Schedules
- Some weekends may be required
- 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility
- Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)
- Sat-Sun 1:30pm-10pm
Duties
- Provide basic nursing care to patients with mental health conditions
- Monitor patient behavior, mood, and vital signs
- Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility)
- Administer medications as directed and within scope of practice
- Support patients during therapy and treatment activities
- Report changes in patient condition to nurses or physicians
- Maintain patient safety and prevent self-harm or injury
- Document patient care and observations
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Follow treatment plans and facility protocols
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited educational institution
- Licensed as a Licensed Psychiatric Tech by the State in CA. The license MUST be in good standing
- Minimum 1 year previous working experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Licensed Psychiatric Tech
