Job Summary
At theCoderSchool you will teach kids how to build their very own games using things like Scratch, Python, Unity, Roblox, Godot, and more! We are looking for instructors excited about teaching the next generation of coders. You will meet incredible kids, teach them how to build awesome projects, and be rewarded with an amazing experience!
This is a year-round part-time position requiring between 10-15 hours per week. Session times are weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings. We will provide some instructor training, however we expect you to have solid coding foundations and some experience building projects like games or websites outside of school.
Requirements
* * Strong interpersonal skills. Some experience tutoring or teaching is great!
* Solid coding foundation in at least one language like Python, Java, or C++.
* Big bonus for game development experience in something like Unity, Roblox, Godot etc.
* Availability all year.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Pleasanton, CA 94588: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Tutoring: 1 year (Preferred)
