Join our dynamic team as an Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver and take on the exciting challenge of delivering freight across long distances with energy and professionalism. In this role, you'll operate tractor-trailers and specialized trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and commercial trucks on over-the-road routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Drive a variety of vehicles including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized equipment for freight delivery
- Load and unload cargo manually or with forklift assistance, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials and dangerous goods in accordance with hazardous materials regulations
- Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes, maintain timely deliveries, and adapt to changing traffic conditions
- Transport automobile parts or other freight efficiently while maintaining vehicle safety and cargo integrity
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before operating the vehicle
- Comply with all safety protocols related to manual handling, truck loading/unloading procedures, and hazardous materials transportation
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driving across long distances
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, Hazardous Materials Regulations, DOT rules, and safety standards for truck driving
- Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers with manual handling expertise
- Ability to manage logistics cargo handling efficiently for various freight types including freight in refrigerated trailers or tanker trucks
- Proficiency in GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments during trips
- Experience with truck loading/unloading processes using forklifts or manual methods for freight handling
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to hazardous goods transportation, dangerous goods regulations, and truck loading/unloading safety protocols

Pay: $7,800.00 - $12,000.00 per month
