Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fiber Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and completion of complex fiber optic infrastructure projects. In this role, you will oversee all phases of fiber installation projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to construction regulations, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and team leadership will drive successful project outcomes. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of fiber optic construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines.
- Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial tracking using HeavyBid or comparable construction estimating tools.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, construction regulations, and quality control measures.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project flow and timely resolution of issues.
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to guide installation processes accurately.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and schedule updates; adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to regulatory compliance standards and environmental guidelines.
- Manage project documentation including permits, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and closeout reports.
- Lead team meetings to communicate project status updates, safety protocols, and upcoming tasks effectively.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, project coordination, and cost management principles.
- Proven ability to manage teams in a construction management role within the telecommunications or civil infrastructure sectors.
- Deep understanding of construction regulations related to fiber optic installation and civil works.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and managing complex infrastructure projects.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with contracts negotiation and administration in a construction environment.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
