Fleet Solutions Truck Repair is looking for an experienced in-shop technician to join our team. We're a family-owned commercial truck repair shop that services light-, medium-, and heavy-duty fleets. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, working on a variety of equipment, and being part of a team that takes pride in quality work, we'd love to talk with you.
This position is primarily shop-based with opportunities to assist customers by explaining repairs, documenting findings, and helping with service recommendations when needed.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair light-, medium-, and heavy-duty commercial vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance services
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, engine, electrical, HVAC, and hydraulic repairs
- Perform DOT inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical concerns
- Accurately document inspections and repairs
- Work with the service team to communicate repair recommendations
- Assist with writing repair notes and estimates when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
What We're Looking For
- Experience repairing commercial trucks or diesel equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills for documenting repairs
- Valid driver's license required
- CDL is a plus but not required
- Welding and fabrication experience is a bonus

Pay: $18.00 - $50.00 per hour
