Role Description
This is a part time/full time PM on-site role for a sterile processing technician located at our ASC in Honolulu, HI. The sterile processing technician will be responsible for working with operating room teams to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures, preparing and sterilizing equipment, and providing technical support to the surgical team. This role requires experience with sterile processing instruments.
Duties
- The sterile processing technician handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary before and after the surgical procedure.
- This role is responsible for care, cleaning, handling and reprocessing of instruments and equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience with Sterilization techniques
- Experience in Sterile Processing
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients
- Certification in sterile processing is required
