Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server to join our dynamic restaurant team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements as needed
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Clover POS
- Process cash, credit card transactions, and sales accurately through POS systems including OpenTable integration
- Upsell menu items, drinks, and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant environments or the food industry with fine dining experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing bills seamlessly
- Food handling certification along with understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow servers in a fast-paced environment
