Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to meet their needs
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and conducting inventory counts
- Upsell products by recommending complementary items and informing customers about new or popular products
- Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash drawer handling and retail math calculations
- Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery or specialty stores such as dispensaries or cannabis shops
- Knowledge of retail store products, merchandising techniques, and POS systems
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
- Experience with cashiering, retail math, and managing cash drawers confidently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Familiarity with cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions
