Mandarin Teacher - Elementary After-School Program (Part-Time)
The International Language School for Children and Adults (ILSCA) is seeking enthusiastic Mandarin teachers to teach elementary students in after-school programs.
ILSCA has been providing quality language education since 1991. We are looking for reliable educators who enjoy working with children and want to help students build confidence in Mandarin through engaging and interactive lessons.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Mandarin classes for elementary students
- Create fun, age-appropriate lessons using conversation, games, stories, songs, and cultural activities
- Encourage students to participate and communicate in Spanish
- Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate professionally with ILSCA staff and school partners
Qualifications:
- Advanced Mandarin proficiency or native Spanish fluency
- Experience teaching children preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and enthusiastic about language education
Schedule:
- Part-time after-school hours
- Weekday afternoons
- Approximately 8–12 hours per week
- Schedule based on school needs
Compensation:
$30–$40per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
