Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to support our kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items
- Support kitchen staff with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations
- Help with basic catering setup and cleanup for events or banquet services
- Maintain organized storage of clean dishes and supplies
- Follow sanitation protocols to ensure a hygienic work environment at all times
Skills
- Experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks and assist with cooking as needed
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Previous banquet, hotel, or culinary experience is a plus but not required
