We are seeking a Skilled Carpenter with extensive experience in residential construction building new homes from the ground up. All stick built-no panels. The ideal candidate is proficient in both rough and finish carpentry, with the ability to complete projects to the highest standard of craftsmanship and precision.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of carpentry, including rough framing, finish work, cabinetry, and deck construction
- Complete interior and exterior framing tasks according to project specifications and codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Competitive pay based on experience. Starting between $20-$40/hr. Health care insurance available after 90 days. Paid holidays after 90 days. 40 hours/week, year round work. Overtime is available. Paid time off after 90 days.
Qualifications:
- Must have extensive experience in the carpentry trade
- Proficiency in rough and finish carpentry techniques
- Experience in deck building, cabinetry, and framing (interior and exterior)
- Must possess own tools and reliable transportation to one hour or less to jobsite.
- At jobsite and ready to work at 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- Able to read a tape measure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
