Duties
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through effective coaching and training.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, providing solutions that foster loyalty and satisfaction.
- Supervise shift management, including scheduling staff, cash handling, POS system operation, and closing procedures.
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll records, and manage purchasing activities to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop a diverse sales team.
- Excellent communication skills, including managerial communication and phone etiquette.
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, cash handling, and basic math.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Experience with employee orientation, training & development, and operational management is highly desirable.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively using time management techniques in a fast-paced environment.
