Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer/ Service tech to join Alpha HVAC & Plumbing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems and a passion for providing exceptional service. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will contribute to creating comfortable environments for our clients. Journeyman level required along with a clean driving record required.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems according to specifications and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Drive company vehicles to job sites as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Ductwork assembling
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC installation and repair.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Read drawings for new construction, and prepare takeoffs
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driving experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices is a plus.
- Commitment to safety standards and best practices in the workplace.
- Journeyman level or Higher
