Overview
Broadview IP LAW is an intellectual property law firm located in Irvine, California, focusing on IP prosecution for innovative inventors, universities, research institutes, and companies around the world. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for our rapidly growing patent prosecution business. Duties include assisting attorneys with various tasks, including but not limited to:
- Reviewing documents mailed from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and reporting to clients
- Preparing patent applications to e-file at the USPTO website
- Docketing client documents and filing deadlines
- Mailing physical documents to the USPTO through delivery service companies
- Answering telephone and delivering messages to the attorneys
- Performing other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and grammar skills with strong attention to detail, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Compensation offered to the candidate will be dependent on many factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
- Eligible to legally work in the U.S. (Required)
- Associate’s / Bachelor's / Currently Enrolled (Required)
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Preferred)
- Able to read Korean (Preferred)
- Paralegal certification or a background in legal studies (Preferred)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
