About the opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Waterjet Equipment Operator to join our team in Indianapolis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining Waterjet equipment to cut and shape various materials in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate waterjet equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines
- Inspect materials to be cut and select appropriate settings for cutting
- Load and unload materials onto the waterjet equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot Waterjet equipment as needed
- Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of the waterjet equipment
- Work with team members to ensure timely completion of production orders
- Keep accurate records of materials used and production output
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
- Manage a team of 2 associates on the line to make sure they are capable
About You:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating waterjet equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with CNC programming and machine operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
