Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday and Monday off) 10 pm to 7 am
Sunday to Thursday (Friday and Saturday off) 10 pm to 7 am
The Logistical Coordinator reports directly to the Account Executive and is primarily responsible for booking trucks, monitoring carrier and trip progression, and ensuring uninterrupted service to customers. This role also ensures the accurate and timely flow of operational data within company systems.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDriver & Trip Monitoring
- Monitor driver activity to ensure drivers are signed into the system, assigned proper equipment, and executing duties in a timely manner
- Monitor and ensure on-time service performance
- Verify drivers are completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections within the system
- Ensure trailers are properly recorded as picked up and dropped at correct locations
- Track load and trip progression to identify potential service failures
Carrier Relations
- Onboard carriers for new and existing lane coverage
- Cover loads daily while negotiating carrier rates to support cost control initiatives
- Maintain positive carrier relationships and assist in resolving carrier or driver concerns
- Assist carriers with identifying backhaul opportunities when requested
Data Entry & System Management
- Enter and maintain trip information and pre-billing data accurately
- Correct erroneous or incomplete data and communicate necessary corrections to drivers
- Update load and trip statuses within operational systems as required
- Document and track service failures and operational exceptions
Operational Support
- Communicate loads at risk of service failure to Scheduling and Dispatch teams promptly
- Coordinate the efficient handling of on-road breakdowns with Fleet Maintenance
- Serve as an initial point of contact for on-road issues including accidents, complaints, delays, and operational challenges
- Ensure timely communication of critical incidents to management
Administrative Responsibilities
- File and maintain driver, load, and trip documentation
- Research service failures and assist with operational follow-up
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management

This role also involves direct communication with customers and carriers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong computer and data entry skills with the ability to accurately maintain operational information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of U.S. geography and ability to read maps preferred
- Transportation or logistics industry experience preferred
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
