Delivery Driver (Independent Contractor)
Location: Long Island City, Queens, NY (Deliveries throughout The Bronx)
We are looking for reliable and motivated Independent Delivery Drivers to join a growing meal delivery project serving residential customers throughout The Bronx. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers with the right vehicle who are looking for consistent routes, early morning work, and good-paying earning potential.
Job Responsibilities
- Pick up pre-packaged boxed meals from the designated pickup location in Long Island City, Queens.
- Deliver meals safely and efficiently to residential addresses throughout The Bronx.
- Load, transport, and unload delivery boxes with care.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and complete deliveries within the scheduled timeframe.
- Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all assigned deliveries.
Job Requirements
- Must own or have access to a Minivan, Cargo Van, or Sprinter Van.
- Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Comfortable handling packages measuring approximately 18" x 12" x 8".
- Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
- Reliable smartphone with GPS/navigation capability.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Schedule
- Delivery Days: Tuesday through Saturday
- Start Time: 6:00 AM
- Approximately 70 deliveries per route, with opportunities for route growth as the project expands.
