Job Summary - $160 per diem for Traveling jobs! 10 hours OT per week! Annual Bonus offered as well!
We are seeking a skilled Apprentice HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC equipment. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and practical skills to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- 50 hour work weeks when on the road
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Carry materials/tools to work site from vehicle as needed
- Build and plumb necessary connections for new installations or repairs.
- Travel up to or sometimes more that 50% of the time. ($160 per diem on travel jobs)
- Follow HVAC Technician's instructions on job site
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and components.
- Proficiency in reading schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience with appliance repair, particularly in relation to HVAC equipment.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Ability to design effective HVAC solutions based on client requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills as a service technician in the field.
- EPA 608 license a huge plus.
