SUMMARY:
The Production Specialist is responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, maintaining quality control standards, and ensuring production goals are met in a timely and safe manner. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assemble products and components according to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
- Package finished products for shipping or storage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and company policies.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety issues to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with inventory and material handling as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve workflow and productivity.
- Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
CUSTOMER SERVICE & TECHNOLOGY INTERACTION:
- Communicate with managers and other employees.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor in all interactions, both in-person and via technology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred;
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
- Ability to follow instructions
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 lbs., and performing repetitive tasks.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, or shifts as needed.
