Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health - Urgently Hiring
Location: Rome, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8 Days)
Pay Rate: $2,300 Weekly Gross
Responsibilities
- Complete Start of Care (SOC), follow-up, recertification, and discharge visits.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide wound care, medication management, patient education, and skilled nursing services.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Complete OASIS assessments and maintain accurate documentation in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB).
- Supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides (HHAs) and LPN/LVN staff as needed.
Requirements
- Active RN license (must be in hand at submission).
- Minimum 1 year of recent Adult Home Health experience or Hospice experience.
- Recent HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) experience required.
- OASIS proficiency required for RN candidates.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
- Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the assigned care center.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
- First-time travelers will not be considered.
Assignment Details
- Average patient load: 5–8 patients per day.
- Productivity expectation: 30 points per week.
- Territory coverage: Floyd County, Georgia.
- Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate between patient visits.
- Rotating weekend coverage approximately once every four weeks.
- Potential on-call rotation based on location needs.
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate.
EMR & Documentation
- HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) experience required.
- All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of each patient visit.
