Math, Chemistry & Physics Tutors (In-person, Part-Time, Flexible Hours)
About the Role
We are seeking skilled and passionate Math, Chemistry, and Physics Tutors to help students master key concepts and strengthen their understanding of the subject and boost their confidence as well as academic performance.
Subjects include Chemistry, Physics, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus as well as SAT/ACT Prep. Most subjects span multiple levels like Regular, Honors, Accelerated, Double Accelerated, AP etc.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one or small group (2-4 students) tutoring sessions in high school subjects (regular, honors, AP).
- Simplify & break down complex concepts into clear, easy-to-understand steps.
- Help students prepare for tests, labs, and homework assignments.
- Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and academic goals.
- Assist students with test preparation, and study strategies.
- Track progress and communicate results with students and parents.
- Help students prepare for SAT/ACT standardized tests.
- In-person classes only, making sure the students achieve maximum understanding of the subjects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or currently enrolled) in a related field.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Patient, dependable, and encouraging teaching style.
- Flexible schedule with afternoons, evenings, and weekends available.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience at the high school level would be helpful.
- Knowledge of the high school curriculum, including advanced topics.
- Work with motivated students in a supportive & goal-oriented environment.
- Must have transportation to come to our location near Fremont DMV. This position is in-person only.
