HVAC, Refrigeration, Heating & Cooling Helper / Assistant Single owner-operated HVAC, refrigeration, heating, and cooling company serving Oregon and Washington. We are looking for a reliable, motivated assistant to help with daily operations and job calls throughout the Portland/Vancouver metro area and surrounding communities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is interested in learning more about the HVAC and mechanical services industry. Responsibilities: Assist with residential and commercial HVAC, refrigeration, heating, and cooling service and repair calls as well as installations. Travel to multiple job sites throughout the day Help load, unload, organize, and transport tools and materials Perform general labor and job site assistance as needed Assist with driving between job sites as needed Qualifications: Dependable and punctual Reliable transportation to a designated meeting location in the Portland/Vancouver metro area Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to lift and carry equipment and work in various weather conditions HVAC, refrigeration, heating, or cooling experience is a plus, but not required How the Position Works: Each morning, you will meet at a designated location in the Portland/Vancouver metro area and travel together to job sites throughout the day. Multiple service calls are often completed daily. Shared driving of work vehicle as needed. Flexibility and the ability to stay with the workday schedule are essential. Important: This is not a typical 9-to-5 position. Start times, end times, and job durations can vary depending on customer needs and workload. Some days may be longer than others, so flexibility and availability are a must.
