Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction site protocols. This role is essential for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Duties
- Operate various types of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, front loader trucks, dump trucks, and graders.
- Assist in paving operations and ensure proper site preparation.
- Perform utility locating tasks to identify underground utilities before excavation.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects to ensure timely completion.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Participate in site clean-up and organization of materials.
Skills
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, particularly with Caterpillar machinery.
- Experience in construction and familiarity with construction site practices.
- Ability to operate dozers, loaders, backhoes, front loader trucks, dump trucks, and graders effectively.
- Knowledge of paving techniques and utility locating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
