Job Title: Accounting Manager (AP, AR, Cost, GL & Audit Oversight)

Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost Accounting, General Ledger (GL), and audit coordination. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable processes in a growing manufacturing company within the solar energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all core accounting functions: AP, AR, Cost Accounting, GL, and Audit
- Oversee full month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Ensure accuracy of AP (vendor payments, accruals) and AR (billing, collections, cash application)
- Manage cost accounting, including inventory valuation, and variance analysis
- Maintain integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts
- Establish and enforce internal controls; ensure compliance with GAAP
- Serve as primary point of contact for external auditors; lead audit preparation and execution
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and sales teams
- Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP optimization
- Mentor and develop accounting team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management experience
- Strong background across AP, AR, GL, and cost accounting in manufacturing
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience managing audits and working with external auditors
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
