Position Overview
Mobile Laundry Lab LLC is seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant for our morning shift.
This position plays an important role in the daily operation of our laundry facility and customer experience. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for opening the store each morning, processing customer laundry from start to finish, maintaining a clean and organized facility, assisting customers, and handling incoming order calls.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, organized, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently.
Primary Responsibilities
- Open the Mobile Laundry Lab location promptly each morning and prepare the store for customers.
- Receive and accurately process customer drop-off laundry orders.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, package, label, and organize customer laundry according to company standards.
- Place completed orders in the appropriate shelving or pickup area.
- Assist customers with laundry drop-offs and pickups in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming business calls and assist customers with questions and order requests.
- Accurately record pickup and delivery requests and communicate order information.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
- Routinely clean washers, dryers, folding areas, counters, shelving, floors, and other work areas.
- Clean and maintain the customer restroom.
- Monitor laundry orders throughout the shift to ensure they are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Handle customers' clothing and personal belongings with care and attention to detail.
- Communicate promptly with management regarding customer concerns, equipment issues, supply needs, or unusual situations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Dependable and consistently punctual.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Professional verbal communication and customer-service skills.
- Comfortable answering business telephone calls and communicating with customers.
- Ability to follow laundry-care instructions and established operating procedures.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Able to lift and move laundry bags and baskets as required.
- Previous experience in laundry services, housekeeping, hospitality, cleaning, retail, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
Weekly Hours: Approximately 20 hours
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
