SanRo Clinical Research Group is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to join our growing inpatient clinical research team. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of participants enrolled in clinical research studies.

Responsibilities
- Monitor research participants throughout assigned shifts.
- Ensure participant safety and report any changes in condition.
- Obtain and document vital signs as delegated.
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
- Engage participants in therapeutic and recreational activities.
- Assist with participant meals and non-clinical needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe unit environment.
- Follow study protocols, company policies, and HIPAA requirements.
- Communicate effectively with Clinical Research Coordinators and management.
- Participate in required training and staff meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; experience with medical documentation is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques
- Experience in diverse clinical environments including ICU, emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or post-acute care is advantageous
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and efficiently
- Skilled in medication administration and catheter care procedures
- Compassionate caregiving skills tailored to patients with dementia or developmental disabilities
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times
- This position is integral to delivering comprehensive patient-centered care across multiple healthcare settings. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and a dedication to improving patient outcomes through compassionate service.
Schedule Requirements
Candidates must be available to work rotating shifts, including:
- 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- 5:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
- 12:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
- Weekends and holidays, as needed.
