About Autonomize AI
Autonomize AI is revolutionizing healthcare by combining data and context to streamline knowledge workflows, reduce administrative burdens, and improve patient outcomes. We’re a high-velocity, mission-driven startup that values full-stack ownership, clear alignment, and customer obsession.
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Business Analyst who operates like an owner. You’ll translate messy, real-world healthcare workflows into crisp requirements, data models, and repeatable processes that scale.
You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Customer teams to ship AI-powered solutions that actually land in enterprise environments — secure, trusted, measurable. If you thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and love turning chaos into clarity, this is your arena.
Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Requirements
-
Lead structured discovery with customers and internal stakeholders; synthesize business objectives, constraints, and success criteria.
-
Convert insights into clear PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps (BPMN/Swimlane) with a strong “final mile” orientation.
-
Decompose complex payer/provider workflows (e.g., Prior Auth, Care Gaps, CDI, UM/CM) into scalable, automatable steps.
Data & Insight
-
Define KPIs and instrumentation plans; build SQL queries and dashboards (Looker/Mode/Snowflake/BigQuery) to track value realization.
-
Partner with data science/ML teams to frame evaluation metrics for LLM-powered features and ground truth/annotation workflows.
-
Validate data quality, lineage, and mappings across EHR, claims, and document sources; document assumptions and edge cases.
Execution & Quality
-
Drive backlog grooming and sprint readiness; ensure tickets are spec’d, prioritized, and unblocked.
-
Run UAT and release readiness — test scenarios, defect triage, go/no-go, and post-launch hypercare.
-
Author customer-facing playbooks and internal SOPs so great work compounds.
Customer & Scale
-
Translate enterprise constraints (security, compliance, change management) into pragmatic product and delivery plans.
-
Model ROI and produce business cases; present findings to executives with crisp narratives and data.
-
Identify and codify repeatable patterns to accelerate future deployments (templates, checklists, data contracts).
Must-Have Qualifications
-
5–8+ years as a Business Analyst / Product Analyst / Solutions Analyst in healthtech or adjacent enterprise software.
Demonstrated ownership from discovery launch
- post-launch iteration; you close loops and raise the bar.
-
Proficiency with SQL and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode) and comfort analyzing large, messy datasets.
-
Fluency writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process diagrams; excellent written communication.
-
Strong stakeholder management — you align fast, create clarity, and influence without authority.
-
Healthcare context: familiarity with payer/provider workflows, medical documentation, and healthcare data (claims/EHR).
-
Security/compliance awareness (HIPAA/PHI) and risk-forward mindset in AI-enabled workflows.
Bonus Points
-
Exposure to LLM/GenAI products (evaluation frameworks, prompt design, RAG, red-teaming) and human-in-the-loop QA.
-
Experience with FHIR/HL7, X12, clinical terminology (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED), and document understanding.
-
Background in management consulting, product operations, or enterprise implementations.
-
Hands-on with Jira/Linear, Notion/Confluence, and collaboration in Slack/G Suite.
What We Offer
-
High-impact opportunity to shape the future of healthcare AI.
-
Autonomy, ownership, and the ability to chart your own growth path.
-
Competitive base salary + commission + accelerators.
-
100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance.
-
Retirement plans (401k), disability insurance, and employee assistance programs.
-
Work with a bold, fast-moving team solving meaningful problems.
