ContinueCARE Hospital at Baptist Health Corbin is seeking a talented Clinical Liaison to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity for an RN or RT with strong clinical knowledge and a passion for building relationships in the healthcare community.
About the Role
The Clinical Liaison serves as the key connection between the hospital and the medical community. This role is responsible for educating referral sources, performing clinical assessments of potential patients, and coordinating with physicians, payers, and case managers to ensure smooth admissions.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct clinical assessments of referred patients to determine appropriateness for admission.
- Educate physicians, case managers, and healthcare professionals on hospital services.
- Develop strong community relationships through outreach, in-services, and presentations.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support seamless admissions and discharges.
- Track referral patterns, analyze data, and contribute to census growth strategies.
- Represent the hospital at community events, conferences, and trade shows.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing or Respiratory Therapy required (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Current RN or RT license in the state of employment.
- At least 2 years of hospital or healthcare experience. Background in marketing, business development, or outreach preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insurance.
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (per hospital and facility requirements).
