Responsibilities
- Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management to ensure smooth service flow.
- Lead and motivate hospitality teams by providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to promote a high-performance culture.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Supervise cash handling procedures and operate POS systems such as Square or Toast.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to optimize food production, catering services, banquet events, and bar operations.
- Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a talented team aligned with our service standards.
- Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
- Uphold food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and compliance with health regulations across all restaurant areas.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or Toast; cash handling experience is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training & development initiatives.
- Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a hospitality setting.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
- Background in food safety management, catering operations, banquet services or bar experience is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for order calculations, sales reporting, and financial analysis are required.
- Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in a restaurant environment is preferred.
