About the Role
We're looking for a motivated, self-driven Benefits Consultant to help local businesses provide valuable voluntary employee benefits through Colonial Life.
In this role, you'll build relationships with small business owners, educate them on the value of enhanced employee benefits, and help them create benefit packages that support and protect their employees. If you enjoy meeting new people, building trust, and making a difference in your community, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and connect with local small business owners.
- Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with business decision-makers.
- Educate employers on voluntary employee benefits and how they can improve employee retention, satisfaction, and financial protection.
- Build lasting relationships with business owners and become a trusted resource.
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, and cold outreach.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective clients.
- Use CRM software to manage leads, appointments, and follow-up activities.
- Collaborate with your team to grow your territory and achieve sales goals.
- Continue developing your product knowledge and sales skills through ongoing training.

- Sales experience is a plus but not required—we provide training.
