Overview
The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting in the oversight and management of a portfolio of grants in support of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Grant Management mission. This entry-level role supports the full grant lifecycle—from pre-award to post-award administration—including compliance monitoring, reporting, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent assists in initiating and coordinating programs or projects related to grant compliance and administration; and helps monitor and evaluate adherence to grant terms and established standards. Responsibilities also include the development of grant-related documents, assisting with and making recommendations on grant writing, and implementing and ensuring compliance with process and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Public Administration is required. A minimum of one (1) year of prior experience in grants management is required. Familiarity with grant funding processes and terminology, and computerized systems are required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages and grant tracking systems. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License and be able to travel to all Seminole Reservations and facilities. The incumbent must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
