Kitchen Helper - Diamond Years Adult Day Care (Haledon, NJ)
Diamond Years is an adult day care center in Haledon, NJ. We are looking for a friendly, dependable Kitchen Helper to make sure our clients get their meals served warm, on time, and with a smile.
This is not a cooking job. Meals arrive fully prepared. Your job is to portion them, set the tables, bring the food out to our clients, and clear up afterward.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (35 hours per week). No nights, no weekends, no holidays.
Pay: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
What you will do
- Set tables before each meal and clear them afterward
- Portion and plate food that arrives already prepared
- Serve meals to clients in the dining room
- Keep the serving area clean and tidy
What we are looking for
- Reliable and on time - our clients eat on a schedule
- Patient and kind with older adults
- Able to stand, walk, and carry trays throughout the shift
- No experience necessary - we will train you
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required
