Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the common areas and property grounds to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
This position offers an opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and maintenance skills in a fast-paced residential setting while providing exceptional customer service to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, appliances in occupied and vacant apartments.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and carpentry issues.
- Complete workorders in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee maintenance tasks including plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC servicing, and general building upkeep.
- Prepare vacant units for new Residents.
- Follow all safety Policies and Procedures
Qualifications
* Previous Apartment Maintenance experience or related experience helpful
* Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall and appliance repair
* HVAC Certification a Plus
* Ability to use hand and power tools
* Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and preform physical tasks such as climbing a ladder, bending & standing for extended periods
* Must pass a Criminal Background test and Drug Screen
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
